The elemental nodes of vivari are only the beginning. In coming years vivari will expand to encompass new modes of avatar creation and usage as well as new domains entirely.
With advances in imaging technology a vivari user can go window shopping with their avatar.
When a user approaches a participating storefront they will be automatically identified or measured using computer vision systems. If they have an account with vivari their personal preferences and profile is retrieved to support a richer and more detailed shopping experience. If they do not have an existing account the basic measurement data from the camera is used and they have the option of creating an account.

Display screens in the storefront window act in a similar way to the Virtual Shopping Kiosk — displaying the user’s avatar wearing the clothes of the retailer. If the user finds something they like they can enter the store to make a purchase or have it shipped to their home.
By making the user a part of the window display shopping is a more personal experience. It is a benefit to the retailer since personalized marketing may lead to more users entering the store to browse the physical merchandise as well as increasing overall sales.
Streamlined Virtual Shopping Areas
In addition to storefront shopping there are exciting developments in standealone virtual shopping technology. Where previously there would be an enclosed space resembling a fitting room for virtual shopping, there will be an open environment, free from restrictions.
When shoppers enter the vivari shopping area they will be subtly identified and measured similarly to the storefront shopping system. If they are returning customers, their vivari profile will influence a richer shopping experience.
The vivari shopping area will have display screens set up in clusters similar to clothing racks at a traditional store. Users can circulate through the area and see their avatar on the screen closest to them. By emulating the browsing action the shopping experience will feel natural.
As with the virtual shopping kiosk there may be clothes available from a variety of retailers available for shipping to the user’s home. The vivari shopping area can be set up in malls or other open common space where the shopping public may congregate.
Since there is no physical merchandise involved there is less need for restrictive security precautions which helps create a more open and free-flowing environment to make shopping more enjoyable and natural.
vivari Custom Clothing
vivari Custom Clothing represents the vivari system expanding from an information service to a full manufacturing entity. The avatar measurement data can be applied to custom clothing ventures to allow a user even more control and choice in their shopping experience.
With advances in technology it is possible to custom-weave clothing for a user given a set of size parameters. For additional cost a user can forgo the typical sizes of Small, Medium and Large for their size.
The user selects a pattern (either from a participating retailer or a vivari-exclusive design) and it is custom-created and shipped to their location.
With the combination of exact sizing and custom designs a user can have a truly unique piece of clothing that reflects their style.
