The principal application of vivari Avatar system will provide an online presence for retail clothing purchases. vivari will partner with major online brands to integrate a 3D applet into the shopping website. The retailer’s collection will be digitized so that each piece of clothing can be ‘tried on’ by the avatar.
Realistic cloth and texture simulations will allow the garment to stretch over the avatar in a manner similar to real life. The user will see just how the clothing will fit them — whether it is too loose, too tight or just right.
Since vivari knows the user’s body type and past purchase history, a profile is created to accommodate product recommendations. This data is held centrally by vivari and made available to the user through online shopping applets or the Virtual Shopping Kiosk.
